Unithai Shipyard and Engineering Limited received CSR-DIW Continuous Award 2023 for the 12th
consecutive year from the project that promotes industrial factories' responsibility towards society and
communities, awarded by the Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry.
Mr. Soontorn Kongraksawej, General Manager – Government Affairs as a representative of Unithai
Shipyard & Engineering Limited, has received a CSR-DIW Continuous Award 2023, for the 12 th
consecutive year from Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry honored by Mr. Chulpong
Thaweesri, Director-General of the Department of Industrial Works presided over the ceremony of the
CSR DIW Award 2013 on 13 September at Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok.
Unithai Shipyard always places high emphasis on operating organizational, governance, recognition of
human rights, labor practices, attention to the environment and consumer issues and community
involvement and development throughout all various community development projects, for example;
vocational training of basic skill of Electrical, Mechanical and Welding for students, occupational training
for women group in surrounding communities, and working closely with the fishery groups in a sea-life
conservation projects.
