UTSE Receives National Safety and Occupational Health Award 2025 Hosted by the Office of Chonburi Provincial Labour Protection and Welfare

On 31 March 2026, at Pacific Hall, 4th Floor, Pacific Park Sriracha, Lt. Apichet Boonpuan, Managing Director Assistant and Operations Director, together with Mr. Thawatchai Kuaklang, Senior Manager – Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Department, of Unithai Shipyard & Engineering Ltd. (UTSE), received the National Outstanding Establishment Award in Safety and Occupational Health for 2025.

The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Narit Niramaivong, Governor of Chonburi Province. During the event, awards were also presented under the “Chonburi Labour Management Excellence Award 2025” by Mr. Cherdsak Unkham, Chonburi Provincial Labour Protection and Welfare Officer, with participation from event organizers, heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour, the Chief District Officer of Sriracha, and representatives from various organizations. The event was attended by over 800 participants.

The objective of this event was to recognize and honor establishments and educational institutions that demonstrate excellence in labour management, good governance, and social responsibility. This year, a total of 288 organizations were selected to receive awards, comprising 276 establishments and 12 educational institutions.

The awards cover multiple areas of achievement, including Excellence in Labour Relations and Welfare Management, Outstanding Safety, Occupational Health, and Working Environment Practices, White Factory Project and Drug Prevention Standards, and Thai Labour Standards (TLS) Compliance.
