The certificate was presented by Ms. Wanlapa Srisuphap, Deputy Director of the Office of Disease Prevention and Control Region 6, Chonburi Province. The recognition was granted in appreciation of UTSE’s support in facilitating field survey training, including ground-based surveys and geospatial data collection through the application of Google Earth Engine and the Solocator application for rodent trapping operations. These initiatives aim to strengthen the capacity development of points of entry within Health Region 6, Chonburi Province, and to enhance surveillance of plague vectors.

The workshop was organized to enhance the capabilities of network personnel at the port of entry by strengthening their knowledge and practical skills in the use of technical tools and testing methodologies, enabling more effective public health risk assessment. The initiative also reflects continued support for government-led activities and further reinforces the strong collaboration and positive relationship between Government sector, Laem Chabang Port and Port Operators.
