On Monday, August 18, 2025, at 9:00 AM, the Community Relations Team of Unithai Shipyard & Engineering Ltd. joined a ceremonial aquatic animal release event at Laem Chabang Beach. The activity was held to honor and dedicate merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, on the auspicious occasion of her 93rd birthday.
The event was organized by Mr. Arthit Sripan, President of the Ao Udom Local Fishermen’s Club, and attended by Mr. Jatuporn Boonchob, Member of the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization Council, along with executives and members of the Laem Chabang City Municipality Council, community committee members, local fishing groups, and representatives from both public and private sectors.
The purpose of the event was to conserve marine species by releasing over 6,000 aquatic animals—including juvenile blue crabs, female broodstock crabs, and shrimp—into the sea. This initiative aims to restore the richness of the local marine ecosystem and strengthen the food chain in the surrounding coastal area.
