On 2 April 2025, representatives from the Community Relations Department of Unithai Shipyard & Engineering, in collaboration with the Model Fisheries Group, Ban Ao Udom community, and the Marine and Coastal Resources Office No. 2 (Chonburi), organized a “Marine Species Release” activity at Ao Udom Beach, Chonburi Province. The event was chaired by Mr. Prem Suesat, President of the Model Fisheries Group.
Held in honor of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s birthday (2 April 2025), the activity saw government agencies, private companies, and local communities jointly release juvenile shrimp and blue swimming crabs into the sea. This initiative aims to restore marine ecological balance and enhance sustainable marine resources.
This project is part of an ongoing collaboration between communities and the private sector to conserve marine resources, regularly conducted during significant festivals.
